Boy, these announcers sure like Frogs. It sure does seem like a lot of programs get talked up more on these ESPN broadcasts than the one that has one the most CWS titles since the postseason format change in 2003.

Why would you even attempt to throw the runner stealing second base? Claunch looked in no hurry to throw the ball. TCU was going to take off as soon as Claunch threw it. Scouting report?

The throw was certainly up. Not possible to apply a tag. So I wonder if Claunch wanted to entice the runner to try to score by throwing up, hoping to get it back in time. But the runner was just too fast. I don't know though.

87% Stealing success! Yet how do the Beav's allow that Double Steal? The guy on Third was not going until Troy threw. Amazing

Through the top of the second, Street has a good, tight zone. It looks like he has lost about 75 pounds and actually moves the direction of the pitch.

Amazing On replay it looked like the runner was already going before the throw even. Or at least was cheating hard. Just arm fake and you have him in a rundown. Bad baseball, poor preparation, lack of practicing that scenario, call it whatever you want but it's a bonehead play.

How do you let that happen? There are 2 outs and you get suckered into throwing to 2nd and allowing a run?! Would have been a great time for a ball fake.

Does the pitch radar only work for TCU? When they show a speed for Pfennings it’s always 83 mph.

But the runner was just too fast. I don't know though. It didn't look like the 2nd baseman expected Claunch to throw the ball. He wasn't close to the bag. If the Beavers wanted to have any chance to throw the runner out at third attempting to steal home the ball needed to be cut off way in front of second. That didn't happen. It was a gift run for TCU. The Beavers can't afford to give any uneccessary runs. Granted, TCU could have scored even if the Beavers didn't throw it down to second but you need to make them earn it with the bat.
