Do we want DBU or TCU tomorrow? I feel like it's be better to get the host with a loss tonight instead of facing them in final and have to beat em twice.....that said, I feel like they have better pitching depth (from what I've heard)
4-2 TCU.....solo HR

The Christians lead the Baptists 3-2 through 4 in Ft. Worth. Aren't Baptists Christians ? Winner of the FW regional plays the winner of the South Bend regional (Notre Dame) Could be another holy war...But the Beavs will win both! The Fort Worth regional is paired with the Columbia regional.

I thought DBU was another name for hole. But maybe DBU doesn’t mean what I think it means.

Much rather have to only beat the host school once. Agree 100%.....we get past TCU, I like our chances against DBU based on pitching depth.

Aren't Baptists Christians ? Winner of the FW regional plays the winner of the South Bend regional (Notre Dame) Could be another holy war...But the Beavs will win both! yes, Baptists are Christians @ftd The "Christian" in Texas Christian is a reference to the "Christian Church," which is also known as the Disciples of Christ. The "Christian Church"/Disciples of Christ was reformist sect within the proto-Baptist Church, which were ultimately kicked out of the Baptist Church early in the 19th century. The "Christian Church"/Disciples of Christ were the ones that decided to form a new united denomination, founded with the stated purpose of ending denominationalism. There are several Christian denominations, who have the stated of purpose of ending denominationalism, and that always makes me chuckle. It is important to note that that sect of Christianity refers to themselves as "Christians" and seeks to absorb the other Christian sects. They believe that they themselves are Christians. Their belief as to whether other sects of Christianity are, in fact, Christian varies. As such, members of the "Christian Church" would not necessarily agree that Baptists are "Christians." They are Baptists. What is now Texas Christian University was founded in 1873 in Thorp Spring, Texas (about 37 miles southwest of Fort Worth), by two Confederate soldiers, who had become "scholar-preachers/teachers." The school's original name was the Add-Ran Male & Female College. (The founders were Addison "Add" and Randolph "Ran" Clark.) It was the first co-ed college in Texas. In 1889, the school was donated to the "Christian Church"/Disciples of Christ and became the Add-Ran Christian University. The University moved to Waco in 1895 and became Texas Christian University in 1902. In 1910, the Main Administration Building burned to the ground. The school was offered $200,000.00 and 50 acres to move to Fort Worth instead of rebuilding in Waco, and the University accepted the offer and has been in Fort Worth ever since.
