TCU vs. Dallas Baptist is in a 64+ minute rain delay. I understand that the game may start in a couple of minutes, though. Increasing chance of rain until nine. I am still hoping that the game is not concluded until at least tomorrow to give Oregon State's pitchers some more time to recover.

I hope the game starts, goes about three innings, and then is postponed. Both teams thus fry their No. 2 starter and have to use their No. 3 starter on Sunday AM, or save their No. 3 and fry their bullpens. If that happens, whoever loses, we get their No. 4, opposed by our No. 3, who just might be our best pitcher at this point.
And the winner, who we'd play after winning our first game on Sunday, would also be down a pitcher. Right now, a suspended game tonight is our friend.

Just about perfect. Especially because TCU saved their ace for Dallas Baptist. If it goes into tomorrow, I believe that they are supposed to make the morning game tomorrow the night game, because I do not believe that a team can play three games in a day (unless the teams are running up against the Tuesday deadline). That would move the Sunday night game to Monday morning. Then, all we need is to lose at least one game on Sunday or Monday to get this thing into Tuesday. The more games on Monday and Tuesday, the better. I want to see Abel, Frisch and Hjerpe come back and eat up some innings.

'Phone Forecast' for FW looks cloudy...no rain for rest of today.... Yeah, they got it in. Oregon State wound up with almost six hours more of rest, though, which hopefully will be of some help. I am curious as to how Oregon State handles the Troy Claunch issue. Erik Ammon gave Mitchy Slick an important six inning rest against Virginia in 2007. JRod sat out the LSU game in 2012. Logan Ice sat out the UCI game in 2014. The only catcher, which was able to catch all 18 innings of a double-header in a regional was Ryan Ortiz in the 2009 Fort Worth Regional. I hope that we get the morning game in. Then, I hope that there is a deluge that wipes out the night game.
