Well, Oregon State lost the draw, and Greg Street is in Fort Worth this weekend.
The good news is that, if the umpire rotation is as it normally is in a regional, Greg Street is only scheduled to be behind the dish tomorrow in the winners' bracket. As such, Oregon State, by losing, has guaranteed that they will not be one of the two teams to have to bat with Street calling balls and strikes.

Street was terrible and how is he still affiliated with the game?
The guy today had two strike zones - one for Hamel and one for Abel. Hamel got the paint, Able didn't.
The announcers like to talk about "adjusting" to the Umpire's zone.
Adjust to what? A smaller strike zone than he has for the other pitcher?

Also, if Oregon State is going to lose one, the first one is the best one to lose. Now, you know that you have to win the next four. This has all happened before, and it will happen again.

Street just called a catch in right a drop. It led to a pretty standard 9-4-6 FC.

Break this bracket open.

Hamel got the paint, the batter's boxes and hit the mascot for a called 3rd strike.
