Dominic Hamel is 6' and weighs 205. He has a good 3-pitch mix and good command of those pitches. Hamel prepped at Chandler, Arizona's Hamilton HS where he pitched in the shadow of Hamilton's ace lefty, Matthew Liberatore who was an early draft pick and is already pitching effectively for the Memphis Redbirds, the Cardinal's AAA affiliate. Hamel was also a teammate of OSU recruit, J.D. McLaughlin. Hamel was ranked the 16th best pitcher in Arizona and the 47th best player overall by Perfect Game in his Senior year
He pitched two years at Yavapai CC where 2921 OSU recruit, T.J. Wheeler is wrapping up his JC career. At Yavapai CC, in 2018 Hamel woeked 67 1/3 IP with 75 K's and a 6-4 record with a 2.67 ERA In 2019, he pitched 73 1/3 innings, striking out 84. His record was 6-4 with an ERA of 3.68
In Covid-2020 at DBU, he was 2-0 with a 4.58 ERA.
In 2021, he worked 80 innings, allowed 34 runs on 58 hits, struck out 123 and walked 26. He held opponents to a .199 BZ, had a WHIP of 1.05, posted a 12-2 record with a 3.71 ERA.
Hamel has forged a nice career, 16-8 at Yavapai CC, and 14-2 at Dallas Baptist. He can pitch but lets keep one factor in mind - he does not face PAC-12 hitters, he pitches in the Missouri Valley Conference. Let me suggest there is a difference. That is not to say the Beavs are going to light him up, far from it, but is reality.

Any idea the size of the postseason roster? Would be nice to know that and who makes it, although that has always been secret in the past.
