I think much like the football board, the name must be earned. I don't think it's close yet.

But naming it after Casey -- still -- three years after he left, is a bit insulting to our current coach. AND. Fotball isn't named after Riley, Men's Basketball isn't named after Miller, and Women's Basketball isn't named after Reuck. |

Or even one. Also, it might help someone's argument, if they knew how to spell Rueck. Riley kept baseball afloat in some terrible years, but Casey built the program from next-to-nothing to a three-time National Champion. And Casey coached over a 24-year period. No coach in Oregon State history has had that combination of out of left field success and longevity. |
