ASU and Washington losing doesn't surprise me. They didn't exactly finish the season with a bang. Both of them lost the last series and got thumped in the last game. Not exactly a good thing to happen, especially for Washington with the title on the line.

Not exactly a good thing to happen, especially for Washington with the title on the line. Both rebounded in the losers' bracket (Washington over host Vanderbilt). Utah lost to Boston College, almost literally the 10th ACC team in, undercutting most arguments that the ACC should not have received so many bids, i.e. the ACC's 10th best team just beat the Pac-12 champions. Arizona is squaring off against Lafayette tomorrow in the winners' bracket.

Can't believe what a joke South Alabama is by getting an invite because of their guy heading the selection committee. Lose 14-2 to a mediocre Southern Miss team. Way to represent. Nebraska same story, the two of them outscored 20-2 today. you want a better joke---------------------florida st up 17 /1. we hope the SA director isn't on any more ncaa selection committees. do they play sand volleyball in south Alabama?
