I am using Warren Nolan, because I trust the numbers more than Boyd's World.
Oregon State started the night ranked 23rd in RPI.
The big result:
#8 Georgia 4 - #9 LSU 1
That jumps Oregon State up to 22nd in RPI. It also may be a death knell for LSU's at large chances. The Tigers are 24th in RPI but 13-18 against SEC teams and 7-15 against SEC teams with pulses (top 10 SEC teams).
Tomorrow:
The big game for Oregon State's RPI is #7 Kansas State v. #2 TCU in the Big 12 Conference Baseball Tournament. The Wildcats are fresh off of a series win over the Frogs. With the conclusion of the regular season, the Big 12 announced their All-Big 12 team. Jordan Wicks was named first team All-Big 12. And Nick Goodwin was named to the All-Freshman team. Wicks will get the start again against TCU.

Kansas State led 6-3 in the sixth. Wicks had thrown 113 pitches in 5 2/3, but Kansas State left him in there for reasons unknown and Wicks let the next two hitters get on. The reliever entered and gave up a bases-clearing triple to tie the game on an 0-2 pitch. TCU won it in the ninth on a walk-off single after the leadoff hitter doubled.
TCU to the winners' bracket against Texas Tech, and Kansas State to the losers' bracket against Baylor.
In other news, Middle Tennessee State is up 7-2 over Charlotte in the Conference USA Tournament. A loss would drop Charlotte about two spots, very near to where Oregon State is currently. With a couple of the right wins and losses, the Beavers could pass the 49ers into 21st in RPI.

And Middle Tennessee State beat Charlotte 7-2. The loss knocked Charlotte down four spots behind Gonzaga and Oregon State into 23rd. Oregon State now 21st in RPI, and Gonzaga 22nd. That increases the chances of a Spokane Regional. Hopefully, Charlotte loses against Florida Atlantic. That should just about kill off a Charlotte Regional.

Nolan, on the other hand, seems to 'bounce' pretty quickly re: his "predicted standings" Right now (Wednesday evening) he has OSU finishing 18-12 in the PAC, and Stanford finishing 15-12....in other words, Beavs sweep Stanford on the road. Huh? Would love that, but is it realistic? He also has Beavs finishing with an RPI of 17.

Stanford's win 8-5 win over Oregon State in 2019 is the Cardinal's only win at Sunken Diamond against Oregon State since 2009. Sunken Diamond is the Beavers' second home. Oregon State has not lost a series at Sunken Diamond since 2003. I would say that it is realistic, considering history.

Now (Thursday morning), he has OSU finishing 15-15 and Stanford 18-9, in other words, a Stanford sweep. That shift in less than 1 day. What up Nolan ??. He now has Beavs finishing with an RPI of 24. He's certainly covered the entire range of possibilities, I'll give him that.

The Bone is prepared....and believes a series win is in the juju! The guys have seen enough, done enough, have to be pissed off enough to be focused instead of pressed. It's up to Coach Mitch to remind them that there is only one dog pile, and that is at Omaha. Until then, there is no pressure, just another day at the office.

I believe that Nolan's "predictions" are based on random number generators that change from time-to-time rather than a static outcome generator. That makes the projections more helpful to analyzing RPI than static RPI predictions. My current "prediction" has Oregon State taking two-of-three from Stanford.

And Florida Atlantic beats Charlotte 9-8. Unless there are just a stupid amount of upsets from here on out, that effectively eliminates Charlotte from serving as a host site in the NCAA Tournament.
Duke beat Miami, which puts the Hurricanes within striking distance of Oregon State today.
Florida might be passable with an Alabama win today. It is 0-0 in the sixth right now. The Beavers would need their opponents to come through and the Gators' opponents to lose, though.
Duke beat Miami today. If Oregon State beats Stanford, the Beavers likely pass the Hurricanes. Duke punches a spot into the ACC Semifinals, the first team to do so. Louisville jumped out to a 4-0 lead, but Georgia Tech has clawed back to tie the game at six in the eighth. The winner of that game punches the second spot into the ACC Semifinals.
With a win, Oregon State likely jumps Connecticut and Miami and gets near Florida. At that point, it will come down to what opponents do. The Beavers need to get to about 17th in RPI, in order to get into the #1-seed discussion.
