Against John Means, too, Baltimore's ace. Two of Means' last three starts were shutouts. Three starts ago, he threw the first Cinco de Mayo No Hitter since 1962.
A fun fact is that Sam Haggerty--New Mexico '15--was the only batter to reach, and he reached on a dropped third strike. Haggerty drove in two runs against Scotland Church in a 7-4 win in Surprise in 2015 and scored another run in a different game with Drew Rasmussen on the mound after he reached on a Jake Thompson walk.

You may be the best pitcher in the world, but if you pipeline a 93 mph fastball to any big hitter, you are asking for it. Larnach got a great pitch to hit, and he did exactly what he was supposed to. My wife's best friends have season tickets to the Twins, and they like our man Trevor. |
