Is he pitching anywhere this year? I know he was pitching in Mexico in 2019...

Is he pitching anywhere this year? I know he was pitching in Mexico in 2019... I believe that he is out of contract for Tecolotes de Dos Laredo. LH has not pitched for more than a year at this point, and I do not believe that anyone is really going to be too keen on him. Coronavirus came at a bad time for LH. |

Overall in Mexico for 2019 his ERA was 4.59 with a 1.56 Whip. Those numbers, while not impressive, were in the upper echelon of his teams roster (Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos). Their team ERA was 6.09. He was one of their primary starters and had the best ERA amongst the frequent starting pitchers. His most recent play was in the Mexican Winter League (2019-2020, Caneros de Los Mochis). ERA 4.65 / Whip 1.68. He was 23 years old. He is not listed as playing in Mexico in 2021. |

Lots of players have awful pasts, though, and they are allowed to serve their time and compete. It's very true that what happened to him in the past was awful. To be falsely accused of a terrible crime by someone going through a rough divorce is terrible to have to go through, and then to be not allowed to have a career because of a terrible divorce in a family is extremely awful. Too bad the Benton County Sheriffs department screwed up and made it public knowledge based on their incompetence. |
