Surprised Casey is hitting It is a good point, but the Beavers have an oddly high number of injuries for position players. I think Fuchs, the most likely guy to pinch hit, had the hamstring tighten. The AZ closer is tough on righties. I am not griping at all, but is the cost-cutting that eliminated the excellent guy who was in charge of strength and conditioning a factor? Just curious. Of course, the Beavers are better off than the Mets with the injury bug. Hamilton (maybe Brown), Melton, Preston, Fuchs, Froemke all nicked doesn't leave much on the bench. Micah and Brown might be the only lefties on the bench and few righties. |
