Stand by Me is a favorite movie of mine... One thing that bugs me...WTF is wrong with the railroad companies? Ray Brower is killed by a train Train doesn't slow down/put on brakes when Teddy does the 'Train Dodge' Train doesn't slow down/put on brakes when the guys are caught on the train bridge Maybe we thinned the herd differently in the era the film takes place  The squeal of the brakes would ruin the sound. |

And here I thought their case didn’t have a leg to stand on. |
