Hi all...just thinking about the Mitch's lineup decisions, and I am perplexed he bats Ober 2nd....here is what I would do: Meckler LF Boyd RF Armstrong SS Claunch C Ober 2B Forrester 1B Fuchs or Froemke DH Gretler 3B Casey CF Notes: I put Boyd 2nd in the order because he has a very good eye, and can bunt! Puts the ball in play very often Armstrong 3rd as he is our most consistent hitter Ober AFTER Claunch because he strikes out too much for the 2 hole Casey last, which is what his dad used to do, put a good bunter/fast guy in the 9 hole, as a "second lead-off" guy.... I bumped Forrester to 6th as he is still hitting it hard, but not driving the ball. Take the pressure off of a frosh hitting 3rd or 4th.... Thoughts? ?

Our lineup scored 11 runs today. Let the pros do their job.

I like Gretler, don't get me wrong, but Dukart has been pretty consistent for us all year. It's nice to have options, but I keep Dukart at third.
And I'm hoping that Melton is back by next weekend, which would change your lineup even more.
I'm pretty curious who is going to start on Tuesday. I'd have Boyd in for sure.

Claunch has really elevated his plate approach recently so keeping him at the four spot is good. Meckler has my vote for leadoff unless by chance Melton comes into the mix. Then that sorta messes with what you are showing for lineup. The guys will have to plate a decent amount of runs to counter Arizona.....would be nice to get this next series
