I have to admit I’ve never been to a Dutch Bros coffee stand but I see them around all over. And I always assumed that they were essentially a Willamette Valley phenomenon. But I guess they have expanded greatly throughout the west and have a certain “reputation”. LOL.

I've never been to one also. I don't think the phrase "go dutch" is a secret way for me to think about the ducks. I believe I have a hat that I got at a football game. I've only gone to Starbucks when I'd get a gift card for coaching youth sports. A large coffee is one-dollar at McDonalds. They are my go-to.

They brought in investors a couple of years ago and they have greatly expanded all the way east to Colorado and Texas. Not good coffee, but they are marketing geniuses and have a die hard following.

There's better coffee out there, but I like Dutch Bros. better than say a Starbucks (F@#* Seattle!) or a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (F@#* Southern California!).

I laughed at Travis and his brother when they started Dutch Bros. I grew up with Travis. I thought no way anyone wanted espresso from a cart in Grants Pass. My bad, as I missed out on the money train and the ability to join up with them. I’d be retired by now, if I would have realized what they had going.

I've had a couple of their drinks and I don't consider them coffee at all. It seems like they cater to the young kids and the Dutch Moms who want 32 ounces of sugar and flavor. Yuck.
But I also have the Dutch Bros. Beaver cap from a football game. Damn nice cap. So there's that.

Reminds me of the old movie “Defending Your Life”. Great show.

The coffee sucks, but then again McDonald's sells a lot of burgers. More power to Oregonians making it.

Fourth-largest coffeehouse company in the United States of America, based out of Grants Pass, Oregon. The other founder Dane Boersma died of ALS in 2009. Dutch Bros. has had their annual Drink One for Dane Fundraiser each year, donating approximately $10 million to MDA. I got my Drink One for Dane sticker this year. Great company. From Oregon. Charitable. Do things the right way. Makes buying coffee an experience. Has coffee I like. I am a fan.
