Pretty sure on Friday night Yeskie's staff gave up 16 runs to UW - on Friday night! Oregon State allowed 4 runs in their 3-game series with UW. Waaaay too late, Nate!

How much of the BEAVS pitching problems are created by the “pitch coach” not calling the next pitch. Unlike requiring the catcher to memorize all the batters traits, the coach has, or should have, a detailed scouting report of the opposition in front of him. I see very few college teams that don’t send in pitches from the bench

He has no responsibility for burning out Abel in 2018? Strong pass.

I see very few college teams that don’t send in pitches from the bench I made mention to this awhileago. Too much responsibility on the catcher to call the pitches. I totally feel this is the responsibility of the pitching coach. He's the one that should be studying opposing batters. And to all you Canham naysayers, give him a chance for chrissakes. This is his first year. FIRST YEAR. Last year amounted to barely a spring training. Sure he's made some mistakes that've cost us some games, but he's gonna get it. It makes me crazy all the folks that snivel about us not hosting. BFD!! The fact remains we are a team that nobody is gonna be happy to see in their regional!! Make postseason. Get hot. Win final game. oh, and I forgot to mention, Yeskie is that kind of hole.

How much longer are certain texters here going to continue to 'whistle past the graveyard'? Yeskie or not, the Canham hire was a significant error. MC was/is obviously just not ready or qualified to manage a high-profile collegiate baseball program. What's to do about it now? Probably not much. We're likely stuck with Mitch and his ineffective, inconsistent management style for at least a few more seasons. Maybe he'll learn on the fly, maybe not. So let's hope he does sharpen up, otherwise we're in for a long slide downhill. And your qualifications to conclude the Canham hire was a significant error are... We missed the tournament in 2016, was having Pat Casey coach that team in that year a significant error?

It amazes me how many fans don't realize that we were spoiled and hit the lottery in 2017-2018 with a record of 111-18-1! Chances are we will not ever have a potential 6 first round athletes on the same team at the same time! You can't judge the future based on the 2 best seasons ever in Beaver Baseball history. We were SPOILED! Give Mitch his time. If you don't like it, you can start rooting for another team located down South.

I just wanted to say that cherry picking our team ERA doesn't tell you much.....we've been really good against lesser competition, but not so much against the better teams......our staff has a tendency to blow leads.
