We just won some solid recruiting battles....
Morris - OSU over Cal, WSU, Boise (gets us a very solid in-state kid)
Taylor - OSU over ASU, Notre Dame, Louisville, Utah (strengthens that Arizona connection)
Kratz- looks to be under the radar, but about a dozen mid-major offers. 6'5" 285 frame to start with. That's promising.
Cody Shear from Sheldon (OL) is another in-state guy that we are probably 50/50 shot for... Has offers from OSU, Arizona and WSU. He's been to a number of OSU camps.

Kratz is a 3* for Scout and 247. Rivals has not evaluated him. and yeah, basically every mid-major of note had offered him. 13 offers. But for sure a solid trio. good to see Morris and Taylor as "legit" 3* guys that had other P5 offers and picked us. I like that. |

I've never been into the 2 stars... 2.5 stars.. 2.674 stars vs 3 stars vs 4 stars. For me it's all about who are we competing against for the kid. As much as we all love a Mike Hass story or a Rodgers brothers story, we just finished 0-9 in league and absolutely need to win some head to head conference battles on the recruiting front, so this is excellent news IMO.

Morris has a teammate that I hope we are on too, O/D line, with size, similar to Kratz, he will go someplace, might as well be the Beavs. |

Please go watch Taylor's video. That kid is a spark plug. His running form reminds of Cooks and his acceleration is also similar to Cooks' high school video. When we're winning recruiting battles against ND and Wisky, you have to smile.

Saw him (#5) earlier on Mason Moran's video turning completions into touchdowns. Was impressed then and more so now that he is going to be a Beav.
