I hope Mitch has the guys listening to this, because this is radio 30 for 30 stuff. Seriously, regional Pulitzer prize material. Josh Worden has a masterpiece on his hands if the rest of the episodes are as good as the first two.

I just finished it. Very very good. I've listened to many of his podcasts & enjoy them as well. Beaver Tales is the name. That team was special....duh. They made a bunch of errors, didn't have great (or even good) starting pitching & still won the NC.

They made a bunch of errors, didn't have great (or even good) starting pitching & still won the NC. They had great starting pitching, but I think the top 3 guys sort of ran out of gas a bit right at the end of the season. But we did have a deep bullpen with a bunch of young kids that were never star struck. And that one starting frosh, Abel, Able? He had his moments. |
