Sounds like a less-polished Timmy Allen type of player to me. I'm intrigued by this add, and think he can bring a lot to the table. May not start or see a lot of action year 1, but the 3 position is pretty wide open with ZR, ET, and Franklin all gone. Johnson is there and we still haven't seen a lot of him, however in his limited action he showed some good things. Everyone else that could play 3 is a newcomer unless we slid Alatishe/Calloo there and went with a bigger lineup. I'm a little worried he'll go the way of Hollins He's not even here yet and you're worried about him transferring? Good lord.

Sounds like a victim of Post Transfer Stress Disorder All things considered, Beavs have come away relatively unscathed by the transfer portal. Not saying I wouldn’t have liked to see some stay and develop, a lot of teams have been hit much worse and deeper.

For WBB, we lost a player that almost single-handedly won games for us early in the year.

The transfer portal, for better or for worse, is here to stay though. It may not be great for the fans/coaches/NCAA, but it's better for the athletes themselves. Everyone's just going to have to get used to "free agency" in college sports now and also realize that just because a player transfers out that it isn't necessarily an indication that the coaching staff chased someone off or can't keep a team together. For most teams, they're going to see 25-40% of their roster shaken up solely from transfers. Hell, at least we aren't Cal, Utah, or Minnesota this year.

The transfer portal should slow down in the coming years when players are back to only one free transfer without sitting out a year.
