There's never been too much drama for a high school athlete announcing where he's taking his talents to next.

Must be getting a lot of attention from ‘late comers’, In other words - it’s probably no longer a two team battle between the Beavers and the LOBO -tomies !

Congrats to the staff on landing a solid young talent! I didn’t have a good feeling in this one, really glad it broke our way. Kid is an athlete that can get to the rim. We will definitely be able to hang athletically next year, hopefully WT can work some more magic on gelling them into a team.

Welcome to Glenn. Watched one highlight tape from a game and a composite one also, and he looks to be an athletic player who can get to the basket. However, in those two tapes there was only one shot from outside, and because of editing it was difficult to tell whether it was from a game or shoot around and didn’t show whether it went in. So I’m gonna go out on a limb and say outside shooting isn’t a strength.
With all that said, looks big enough to play 3 as well as 2 Hopefully WT can get him ready to play D on the college level and the shooting comes. Definitely looks to be a very nice addition to team.
This commitment leaves one more scholarship left. With Silva as a super senior, wonder if they’ll fill it this year or roll it over until next year. That likely depends on who they can find to fill it. Looking at the roster, it appears they could use a 3 who can shoot from distance, though WT might deploy a 2 there when needed. Looking forward to seeing how all the pieces fit together.

"Versatile wing with good size and length. Plus frame with plenty of room to get stronger. Best as a slasher due to body control and high level touch around the basket. Streaky shooter who is more of a weapon off the bounce. Sees the court very well and has a high basketball IQ. Size and length give him chance to be multiple positional defender. Late-bloomer who should ultimately be starter at high major level." 247sports.com/player/glenn-taylor-jr-46086961/

I'm intrigued by this add, and think he can bring a lot to the table. May not start or see a lot of action year 1, but the 3 position is pretty wide open with ZR, ET, and Franklin all gone. Johnson is there and we still haven't seen a lot of him, however in his limited action he showed some good things. Everyone else that could play 3 is a newcomer unless we slid Alatishe/Calloo there and went with a bigger lineup.

I think Alatishe's future is at the 3 at the pro level and he'll play there primarily this year, provided his outside shot improves enough to warrant the move. There's tons of length and flexibility with this lineup and I'm excited for next season. If WT can continue what they did on D and grow the offense to be more consistent, we're going to be a solid team that noone wants to play as we're deep, athletic, and very long. Fingers crossed!
