Times like this and I remember Big Jim Wilson. If you bring in guys for only one inning, they all have to be on.

'just can't understand some of MC decisions....especially his late-game pitching pitching changes. Costing us too may critical games. Absolute helter skelter

Big mistake. It isn't like Fritsch was in danger at any time and he had a lot left in the tank.

This team refuses to do things the easy way.

Times like this and I remember Big Jim Wilson. If you bring in guys for only one inning, they all have to be on. Sure, but things can change fast. Just look at Abel today. Salgado has been lights out in relief all year.

MC is doing the major league logic of ‘roles’.....not looking at the specific situation. And the situation was we already had someone dealing. But took him out anyway because he isn’t the 8th inning guy
Not good

Who's making these boneheaded pitching change decisions?? Dorman or MC?

I think this was extremely poorly coached by MC. How do you bunt with your #5 hitter with no outs and a runner on 1ST and not bunt with your #9 hitter up and have a runner on 2nd no outs and the score tied. As well as the fiasco with the bases loaded and no outs . Very disappointed in his decisions.

Mully gets that 1st out, good at inducing doubleplays

In a 15 minute period, Beavs go from having about 555 ways to take it to a 5-1 game > to tying run to the plate for Bruins.

Times like this and I remember Big Jim Wilson. If you bring in guys for only one inning, they all have to be on. The thing is, that’s the nature of most sports. The pinch hitter. The relief pitcher. The closer. They are all expected to walk into the flow of the game and produce. Guys off the bench in basketball. Guys off the bench in football. Come in and do your job. Some excel and some don’t.

Why not leave Fritsch in? He was mowing them down Bringing him out before 2nd time through their order.
