Good to see the relatively unheralded pitchers throwing well when depth is limited. Really like Townsend’s start. I wonder why he couldn’t sustain it....Is he too easy to read second time through? |

Two of those odd baseball things. Armstrong laid down a sac bunt earlier, but with the error, Andy's batting average goes down. The other is Holden walking in the runs, but he still has his 0.00 ERA. Baseball is a funny game.

Baseball is a funny game. Ummmmm, walking in runs are not considered unearned runs. Even if they are counted towards the previous pitcher. |

I wonder if Gretler can play second.... Melton, even as a lefty can play 2nd. Lol. I think Gretler actually has some innings at 2nd. Melton doesn’t “play” second, he covers the whole right side of the infield, freeing a defender for anywhere else Mitch wants to play them. |
