Baseball is so funny. And so damned frustrating. We second guess just because baseball is so set-up for second guessing. I thought the move to Salgado was the right move, and it may prove to be the right move, but damned this baseball is mind boggling. Just like Mully giving up the tying run in the 9th Friday night. No guarantees. |

I liked the way Salgado "cleared" that inning.
His slider had a lot of bite on it.
Now we need the bats to come through.

These games have been amazingly competitive! Very impressed with both clubs' ability to fight for the win. But it's time for the Beavs to put up a crooked number!

My little summary section on the Box Score, after 9 inning displays OSU: OPS of 1.049....and UCI: OPS of .635.
Game is tied. I always thought OPS was sort of important. Maybe not!
