I lay alot of this on the coaching. Player selection and where they are positioning, being bunt on successfully and selection of pitches. How many runners has the Irvine catcher thrown out? Why aren't we running with fast players. We PH for our #3 hitter. Three of our best players on the bench? Very frustrating. Is this the Lefty associated with Beaverbert?

Maybe because our #3 hitter was 1-11 in the series? 3 of our best players are on the bench? Melton is hurt, Claunch is not one of our best players and I have no idea who the other one is that your talking about.

Gretler (who PH) has been hot. Melton is hurt. Logan is catching for the lefty-right platoon, probably the same reason McDowell is playing instead of Preston. Let the man coach.

And Troy had started making contact again.

Wow. Need to see a lot more of that from Burns. Fastball command. No nibbling.

McDowell should have the Bat glued to his shoulder. Or in the bunting position.

HenryS posted a couple years ago about Meckler being a grinder. He absolutely didn't look like an athlete the first time I saw him, but the kid is a grinder.
