Is UW's WBB budget bigger than OSU's? What would motivate Katie to want to change programs within the Pac-12, especially one so close to home? Just seem like a lot of unfortunate changes and challenges to our program over the last couple months-first Sasha and Savanna transferring then 2 coaches moving on. I can understand a coach taking an opportunity to become a head coach, but I'm stumped by the Katie move. Go Beavs! [br She was the #3 assistant here. Anything above that is a move up.

Good "food for thought" there rmancarl, I personally think Katie F. has as much integrity as anyone in college sports and will do the right thing when it comes to recruiting, etc. I expect she will try hard not to "poach" or take advantage of relationships with players she was recruiting for OSU and steer them to U of W unless they drop us off their list on their own. I trust too that she informed Scott as early as possible of her plans and again "did the right thing". This makes me laugh. So, she should not try and recruit players she was recruiting here? Right. I’m sure when they hired her, they made sure to tell her not to recruit anyone she was pursuing at OSU. Are you telling that when you switch jobs, you can’t go after your old customers? I don’t think they they made her sign a non-compete clause.

Thanks. There must be a story there, I'm completely unfamiliar with it. I see he's an assistant football coach. I don't need the details. He's not an assistant football coach, he's an AFC. You must learn, nwhoopfan, that you must never use full English words. I guess you are allotted only so many of them in your lifetime, and, when you've used them all, you drop dead on the spot. So always use initials instead. Not only will it keep you alive longer, it will give you a feeling of 'in the know' superiority over those poor devils who must struggle to figure out what you're trying to say. How about KMA, GMB, and GOML. We got through the exchange of information without the snide comments. Thanks for adding to the discussion and value of the thread. No malicious intent until some JA(another one for you) comes along. How is your superiority complex going? Sheesh

I'm trying to compliment her, that's all !

Is she gets players by bad mouthing OSU, those are probably not the type of players you want here.

They are pretty recently married so long distance relationship probably not in the cards. Ohhh...I think she is pregnant too. So support is good to have

That must be kinda like the South Park episode where you can only use so many swear words before the apocalypse is unleashed.

Interesting how there has been zero discussion of Brian's wife in his decision.
