Irvine is 11-1 at home. They also have played 3 Pac12 teams prior to our series.
They swept Washington in February at home.
They went 1-2 @ UCLA & 1-2 @ Stanford.
It might be their best squad since 2014.

In other news, Oregon has the highest per capita growth of covid positives in the nation. I threw that in for other posters who are hoping to watch a baseball game in person for the next year in any sport. More beer.

Casey...does what Casey is best at...strikes out looking.
Armstrong grinds out a base hit to SS. Throwing error. Goes to 2nd. (That was about the dumbest throw I've seen.)
Mekler drives a double to left center. Armstrong scores.
McDowell...flies out directly to a stationary left fielder.

I'll be watching games at home and not because I give a rip about the Covid virus. I simple can't get tickets. Haven't been to Goss since a 2017 game on Sunday game against USC. KJ Harrison hit a HR over the leftfield fence. Jake Thompson struck out 10 or 11, we won like 10-1. I spilled a beer on my way back from Banners, but just kept walking. The weather was great and the win was beautiful. |
