If he continues to get double doubles About half the games he plays he'll have a long career and a fat wallet.
Too bad Tinkle could never recruit future NBA talent... according to some anyways.

I always wonder what Drew would have done had he stayed for his senior year. Pretty sure he would have killed it. Definitely happy for his success in the NBA. It also would have been cool for him to have gotten some mound time. I think he tried out for baseball but I never heard how close he was to playing both sports. Wilky?

I know that Eubanks was talking about walking on, but the 2016 basketball season did not end until March 18, 2016, in Oklahoma City. Oregon State started its first Pac-12 series against Arizona State on that same day. Oregon State baseball was just destroyed by injuries in 2016. Larnach, Madrigal, Rasmussen and Thompson (among others) were all hurt for parts of the 2016 season. They converted Fehmel into a pitcher, because they had so few pitchers to start the year. It would seem weird for me, if Casey kept a potential spot open for Eubanks to decide whether he was going to play or not until after the Arizona State series started. Rasmussen would go down the series following Arizona State (California), which made the need for ready-to-pitch pitchers even more dire. That was when Heimlich made the move from fourth starter and long reliever into a full-time (mostly) starter).

I didn't think Eubanks was an overpowering high school pitcher. He probably had potential. There were probably a dozen guys on campus and not associated with the baseball team that would have had a better chance to help.
