I’ll take 6-9 which seems optimistic at this time

I’m going all in .....10+.....not saying that they win all five series but sweep one...win 3 others (2-1)and lose one series (1-2). I think the b-ball gods will shine some light our way after what they did to us last series 😬

I’ll take 6-9 which seems optimistic at this time 10+ wins. Short of that, Oregon State is unlikely to host.

Shouldn't this poll be started after the Cal series?
Our remaining Pac 12 opponents after Cal are: (+ my predictions)
@ UCLA. ( 2-1) USC ( 2-1) @ ASU (1-2) AZ (1-2) @ Stanford. (1-2)
My Cal prediction is (2-1) Beavs, which is a 9-9 record in our last 6 Pac series.
7-8 is my prediction for the last 5 as of today.( I might be placing too much on the Eugene debacle)
This prediction will change after the Cal games. If we performed well, it'll be "rah rah Beavs" for me all the way to Irvine.

After the way 2019 ended , the start to 2020, and our performance in Eugene last weekend. I just want into a regional, where anything can happen, especially if you have any depth in your pitching staff. We've depth and some big time arms but can they be consistent? We shall see.

Everyone of those series is gonna be a grind, and I guarantee ucla will wake up at some point. I think .500 is a pretty optimistic prediction, honestly. The reality is we could be .500, or s%#t the bed, or go on a run and host.....it's up to the kids and the staff. The mental part of their game needs re-tooling, and hopefully they re-tool for Cal.

The interesting part of hosting is that hosting is decided on early May this year so those last 3 series don't impact that. Might impact who comes to Corvallis and if we are the 1 seed in Corvallis but if we play strong until then and submit bid, last 3 series don't matter for hosting

Seems to me we'd most likely need to win all of our series and have em count for the decision, to have a shot at hosting....I could be wrong though

There isn't a wide range of "talent disparity" between us and the rest of the conference. So any problems we're having are fixable. I expect our pitching to keep us in every game. I'll be watching how our bats do against a decent Cal pitching staff. P.S. I heard the weather is going to be good this weekend, sometimes bats "get going" in good weather.

Of course we can wake up......my only point was ucla has kind of been forgotten as they've scuffled quite a bit. They prolly have the most talented roster in the conference though. Based on how our bats go silent vs good pitching, and our pitching meltdown in eugene, I've us got that series as a loss....and it's down there

I guess that's what makes us Beaver fans! LOL We don't lose a lot of series. And getting swept is pretty rare. But anything from injury or waking up can happen. I like that the Beans have a lot of depth, especially on the pitching staff because those arms get tired. I also think that none of the batters/fielders is indispensable, except Armstrong. So the injury bug shouldn't be much of a factor. (knock on wood) What will matter most is coaching and confidence.

Unless Dr. Frankenstein reanimates the 1927 Yankees, I don't predict Oregon State dropping a series at Goss. Nevertheless: I think Oregon State is a better team than Arizona State, but winning a series in Phoenix may be a tall order. Still no Arizona State team has defeated an Oregon State team at Phoenix Muni since 2015. Arizona has played better than Oregon State so far, but, if fans are in the stands, I still believe that Goss will get 'em. Arizona has not won a game at Goss since 2015 and has not won a series at Goss since 2012. (And that Wildcat team won the National Championship.) Sunken Diamond has been a home away from home for Oregon State. The last time that Stanford won a home series against Oregon State was 2003. Oregon State has lost road series to each of the other nine members of the conference since then (and at least three road series against the original Pac-10 members each in the same timespan). I mean Oregon State is 19-4 at Sunken Diamond since 2003, the Beavers average a sweep every other trip. The Cardinal's single win in 2019 was their first at Sunken Diamond against the Beavers since 2009.
