It showed the average of sacrifice bunts per team per game since 2014?, and each year it has gotten lower and lower. Looks like the college game is becoming more and more like the big league, add in the shift we see more often.

As more college teams embrace Sabermetrics, the sacrifice bunt totals decline. Analytics tells you saving the out is more valuable than giving it up to push a runner up a base.
What we are beginning to see in the "Bigs" is a gradual increase of bunting against the shift. The statistical data is showing about 56% of all bunt attempts against an undefended baseline are dropping for base hits.
