D1' has us #1 seed in a CORVALLIS(!) regional. #4 seed - North Dak State; #3 Gonzaga; #2 North Carolina.
Probably unlikely to eventuate quite that way, but an interesting grouping nevertheless.

Aaron Fitt at D1 Baseball is no slouch. He is projecting end of season placement. I like it. No, I LOVE It!

One game at a time. I’m enjoying the season. Talking about the regionals is too soon. Not ready for baseball season to end because it’s a long, dry summer.

Where’s the “we’re not a tournament team” guy now? D1 Baseball has Oregon State slotted in as the 14th-best team in the country, hosting as a one-seed. Arizona State, Oregon and UCLA are all lurking as two-seeds in the projection. That means that Oregon State likely falls down to a two-seed with a series loss to Oregon this weekend. The Beavers really need to win the series in Eugene, if they really want to host.

Where’s the “we’re not a tournament team” guy now? we're 21-7 halfway through the season......... You do realize this team would have to absolutely sh*t the bed to not make the regionals at this point. Even if we went .500 from here on out and finished 35-21 we’d safely be in the tournament.

we're 21-7 halfway through the season......... and haven't played vs the upper teams in the p12 yet....Time will tell! Well one of the “upper teams” lost a series to UW, who we swept. And Arizona, another upper team, lost a series to the team who lost the series to UW. So, I’m not exactly shaking in my boots knowing we still have to play the “upper” teams.

We know the publications always want to rank the quacks higher then they should be, in every sport. They already beat us at Goss. We need to take care of biz down at nike park or whatever it's called. Pat Casey always held off the quacks.....and initially, Horton made a pretty good run at us......Canham needs to squash em right now.....this is THE most important series of the season, period

I think the winner of this series is one of the front runners to win the Pac. We do have a couple of hitters that are becoming more go-to hitters for us (Melton and Forrester) that should help out. I think we go with Cole at catcher.....Preston in center-need his leadership and defense. Need Kevin Abel to be on his game...better control.

Put Yovan on, and go after the other hitters. Can't let that guys bat beat us.

I guess he saved it for the regular season, but he played in the Wild Wild West League at North Marion High School last summer and just didn't look all that great - not bad, but his plate presence was not more than average.

Interesting....he look like a beast at the plate now Should be one heck of a series. Come on Kevin, start us off with 7 innings of no hit batter ball! 6 innings has been his max this year. I'd settle for that. I'd like to see the Beaver bats give him a fair amount of run support from the beginning. Yeah, I know that's a tall order, but I think Abel is a master when the other team is playing catch up.
