I think his girlfriend was in there. He got a little before coming back out. I don’t think he wants to be known as Joe “30 seconds” Casey, so hopefully that’s not the case. Maybe better than Joe "forgot he's playing a baseball game" Casey. |

Burns just hasn't been able to give us solid outings. What do you do with the guy? Younger, newer guys are throwing better and more consistently.

Burns just hasn't been able to give us solid outings. What do you do with the guy? Younger, newer guys are throwing better and more consistently. I mean, I guess you do this, let him throw in relatively meaningless midweek games, but man, it was pretty clear he just didn't have it mentally today. Not sure where I'd trust him at this point. We're deep enough we don't need to take random flyers on guys who don't throw strikes and get outs. |
