I thought the "Six Big Ten teams are included in these rankings, and the conference could take over as the best league next season as the SEC and ACC might not be quite as strong" was interesting. Guess Tara and Adia were wrong about the Pac-12 finally getting some respect.

#15 is possible if they can stay healthy and resume some semblance of normalcy in practice and preconference games. It would help if we can pick up another guard or two out of the transfer portal.

I started a "way to early" last week but that got blown out of the water in a hurry. Hey, it's fun, but teams will make a lot of changes over the course of this summer. I'll be shocked if the Beavs don't add at least one more player, and surprised if they don't add two. It looks like a couple players the Beavs are looking at are Grad-transfers, and that would be perfect giving Greta, Talia, and Savannah a year to develop while having experienced players coming in to help immediately.
As far as the Beavs being in the top 15 with what we know now, that almost seems a stretch. I do believe that both Taylor and Jelena improved their screen setting and in the screen game, and Talia looked like she had her end of the pick and roll/screen game down very well too. The Beavs just lost a near 50% shooter from three, the main ballhandler,an 80+% free throw shooter, and the person who got to the line most often this season. I don't see yet who is going to make up for all of that. There is hope and possibility, but I have a hard time getting there until I see what the Beavs add.....I'm not even sure the Beavs are finished losing players yet.

Boy, Arizona don't get no respect - just a one hit wonder in Charlie's eyes. I look for a drop off there next season like everybody else, but not even considered? That's pretty harsh.
And speaking of no respect, Charlie apparently figures the PAC 12 as the 4th best conference after a dominant performance in this year's tourney? Oh well, some things never change.

Here is the thing that would give me great pause on Arizona. In the last 8 years or so, I can only think of 2 teams that were more reliant on one player that Arizona has been on Aari over the last 3 years. Washington with Plum and Cal with Anigewe. Both teams took HUGE steps back when those players left. I can't see Arizona dropping as far as Cal and UW did, but at the same time, I have no idea what Arizona without Aari will look like. She might be even a bigger loss that Anigewe and Plum because she's a much better defender than Plum, and had the ball in her hands a LOT more than Anigewe.

It should be noted Washington had a coaching change after Plum left, and the new coach turned out to be terrible. Also all 5 starters from that team did not play the next year (3 graduated, one was injured and had to retire, and one transferred). And one of those starters was...McDonald. So Washington falling off a cliff was a lot more than just Plum graduating. I don't think there's any way Arizona is going to have that kind of drastic plummet, because there will be some returning starters and the same coach.

Interested to see what Thomas and Baptiste choose to do. The difference between keeping and losing their third and fourth leading scorers would be huge.
Reese, Ware, Pellington, Pueyo, and Yeaney is a solid lineup and that would be even better if Baptiste or Thomas returns.
