Oregon State earned a host spot in 2019 with a 36-18-1 record in 2019. The Beavers probably would need be in the host conversation with a 16-8 finish on the season. Short of there, it is hard to see a host spot being extended.
Oregon State earned a National Seed with a 42-12 record in 2014. The Beavers would need to go 22-2 to better that. That was the #1 overall seed, though, so there is probably some give short of there.
I don't see this team winning that many games going forward. Not after what we saw in eugene....I'm betting they go .500 rest of the way. Tough conference schedule still to go.
