I think hosting is a pipe dream at this point Oregon now sits atop the Pac-12 and has a de facto National Seed resume right now. So, some perspective is in order. Oregon State earned a host spot in 2019 with a 36-18-1 record in 2019. The Beavers probably would need be in the host conversation with a 16-8 finish on the season. Short of there, it is hard to see a host spot being extended. Oregon State earned a National Seed with a 42-12 record in 2014. The Beavers would need to go 22-2 to better that. That was the #1 overall seed, though, so there is probably some give short of there. I don't see this team winning that many games going forward. Not after what we saw in eugene....I'm betting they go .500 rest of the way. Tough conference schedule still to go.

Yes the PAC 12 (...errrrrr.."11" that is) fight for 1st place will be nuts. Right now the 6th & 7th place teams (UCLA & AZ) are 1 GM out of 1st.
btw OSU's overall road record is 8-3.
The AZ schools don't get much taste of the road until part way into the conference schedule. The combined road record [not counting 'neutral'] of AZ / ASU is currently 7-9, punctuated last night in Pullman.
