I looked at two WNBA mock draft boards and don't see her on either. Good luck to her. I hope she gets a shot.

If the wnba doesn't work out there are a lot of options in other countries. I hope she finds a place to play.

I have not been following this as closely as I should. Been away for a few days...
Does this mean Aleah is officially finished at OSU? Or, is any door open for her to return.... If someone could clarify for me I'd appreciate it...Thanks.. GO BEAVS!!

Hope we are able to watch her play again next year, ideally somewhere within the US

If someone could clarify for me I'd appreciate it...Thanks.. GO BEAVS!! She’s done at OSU. Covid has changed the rules slightly this year. Since all players are eligible to return to play next season, players who want to be eligilbe in the WNBA draft, had to first denounce their NCAA eligibility, and then send and email to the WNBA by April 1st stating they want to enter the draft. Aleah did both of those. What is not clear, is if there is a date a player can back out, and when that date is. I've seen someone on this board give a date, but I'm not sure that is official for women players. I found this statement in two different articles, "While this is a new situation in the WNBA, it’s unclear what the NCAA will do as far as allowing players to pull out of the draft. The organization does have a deadline for men’s basketball players to pull out of the draft". So, if there is not an update, Aleah may be able to pull out, and return to the the Beavs...or another team, but that's extremely doubtful and we should consider her done at OSU.

Based on her social media posts, I would not expect her to return to OSU, regardless of the WNBA draft. Her time as OSU is done. She had a great career. Probably better than many had expected. Even if drafted, the chances of making a roster are very slim. If not, Aleah will likely play internationally for a period of time, then move into coaching, like several others have done before her. Wish her the best.

rmancarl - thanks for the post.... I pretty much figured Aleah was gone...but what I did not know was whether a way existed for her to make a return to OSU if things in Pro ball turned sour for her.... I don't follow her social media posts, but I know some of you do.....
At any rate, thanks for the additional insight into how things are working in this "year of the Covid." GO BEAVS!!

When Aleah is ready to start her coaching career, I'd like to see her come back as a grad assistant for Rueck.

I looked at two WNBA mock draft boards and don't see her on either. Good luck to her. I hope she gets a shot. This mock draft power rankings list has Goodman projected as the #37 best prospect overall (36 players will be drafted) after moving up 11 spots since its previous mock draft version. I think Goodman could have used a 5th year of collegiate play to get physically stronger to compete favorably at the next level. However, she performed very well statistically during the '20-'21 season and is as elite a perimeter shooter as the WNBA draft will see later this month. www.lines.com/wnba/drafts/big-board/2021
