Phew.....lots of passed balls at home....not looking like a sweep day the way we are playing..... Its baseball! As a fan of the game over the last 42 years (I turned 50 on 3/27/21, a good day in Beaver sports BTW) I've learned to not get to "high or low" after games. It took awhile though, when I was younger I was a Beaver fan "hothead." |

Ugly, ugly loss. Could've left this weekend with a 2-3 game lead over everyone but Stanford, and instead throw it away. Good teams have to learn to put away the opponent. We don’t have that quality yet. |

Also wait for all 27 outs if needed as in this game. Why? We are going to win. Simply gave up too many unearned runs.......can’t expect to do that and win in the Pac-12. Utah played tough in first game.....second we got some great batting practice but came out flat for the third game.....need to solve our catcher position |

Not even sure what you say about the game. Utah seemed pesky most of the weekend. Seemed to always find ways to have runners on. Their Pitching pretty much sucked. Watson was not magic but he threw a lot of strikes. We sure were back to Wiff World. Overnight from blasting to waving. That about sums it up.

Misery loves company. Stanford blows a 8-3 lead in the fifth and loses to the Cougs in extras. This means OSU remains tied for first with Stanford in the loss column when it’s all said and done for the weekend.

56 might have this answer, but I think Cole Hamilton might be nicked again. Changes everything in the catching rotation. Cole Hamilton.....broken hand out a minimum of 3 more weeks. |
