Does anyone think there is even a remote chance that Ms. Aquino might be able to play? That would be a stroke of good fortune for a change!
Go Beavs.
Also, the other possibility is that Ms. Mitrovic (sp?) makes a quantum leap ahead in terms of strength, skill level, etc. She has some definite potential if it comes to fruition to be an outstanding post player, but she also could remain at a very average level.

Aquino, highly doubtful. I think it’s unlikely that her heart condition will ever “go away.” Unfortunate, but realistic. I would love nothing more than to be proven wrong.
I think Jelena still has some nice upside, particularly if she gets stronger. She’s 6-9 and she was getting pushed around a little too much. If she can strengthen her base and be able to get deeper position, I think she’ll become a better backup for Jones next season.

Regarding Mitrivic: I liked her rebounding and her outlet in Feb. and March. Also, she can pass effectively in Rueck's offensive scheme. I agree that she really has to work on her physicality and her general toughness (strength).
Most importantly, she's got to learn to elevate the ball over her head when she is shooting in the key. When she learns to do this we will see the value in being 6'9 in WBB. Until she learns this essential skill, as far as offence is concerned, she may as well be 6'3.
The program has been hit with a tough one-two combination this week losing both Sasha and Aleah.....A dramatic forward "leap" by Jelena would soothe some of the pain....
Those of you who think the loss of Aleah and Sasha is something Rueck can fix, or will fix, you'd better check into a clinic. No team in America could lose those two players and not feel a major drop off in on-court performance. Obviously, Rueck will come up with a plan, or with alternate players to fill these departures. But there is no way in hell they are going to be the equal of Goodman and Goforth.... GO BEAVS!!

It sure would be nice to see Andrea on the court. Then Jelena could move over to her natural position at the point.

Did Andrea make the trip to San Antonio? I don’t recall seeing her on the sidelines.

It sure would be nice to see Andrea on the court. Then Jelena could move over to her natural position at the point. And then TVO would be demoted to backup PG, prompting Sasha to stay since she would no longer be jealous of TVO's notoriety. It would all fit together so beautifully. Dang it.

Watch Scott pull off an incredible addition! Everyone is only thinking of America. Canada and Europe ( especially Spain ), has some great three point shooters and other bigs. We are down three schollies, and it is time to get creative ! Where did the Sabally sisters come from, How about Mazorla - they are out there !
