Looks like ChiSox opening day roster to include Madrigal. Fry is on the IL.

Looks like ChiSox opening day roster to include Madrigal. Fry is on the IL. Madrigal got 10 games in in Spring Training. He started 0/5 with a strikeout in his first two games over a 10-day period. Over his last eight games, he went 10/23 .435, an RBI double, five runs, two walks a stolen base and only one strikeout. His OPS was .958 over those eight games. Jace Fry is not officially on the IL yet, but the expectation is that he starts on at least the 15-day IL and maybe the 60-day IL, depending on the severity of his back injury. |

For tomorrow's opener Nick is slotted in the 9th spot at 2nd base.

Jace Fry was placed on the 10-day IL today. It is expected that he will need more than 10 days to come back from his microdiscectomy, during the offseason. |
