Some think this transfer portal thing will cripple college sports. I think it's a great thing. Did every decision you make at 18 turn out ? Most college athletes have a 4-5 year window of opportunity. They decide on a school and then when they are there they they might want to rethink what they did. Now they have the chance for a redo if they choose. Good for them.
Goforth is a good player. She will be missed. We will move on and replace her with someone else. That's life. Hope she is happy closer to home and we find someone who loves it here. I think it's exciting to speculate who coach might pick up in the transfer portal. The upside is most are a proven commodity so you have a good idea what you are getting. For all we know we may come out of this even stronger.

Exactly. Worry about what you can control. Freshman year a long, long way from home and family is tough and all the restrictions just made it even tougher. It's too bad she never got to see what OSU WBB really means to the community.
I'll be shocked if she doesn't pick Arkansas.

Agree, decisions at 18 - not all are going to be great. So the real question will be when will NCAA clamp back down on transfers and immediate eligibility.
