I got my first coronavirus shot yesterday, wearing my best Beaver polo. The woman who administered the shot said that her cousin played sports there. I asked who it was, expecting to hear someone that I had never heard of. Instead, she said that her cousin was Joe Newton. She said that he is still in forestry in the state and is really enjoying it.
In a seemingly unrelated story from before the 2001 Fiesta Bowl that I will attempt to weave in here. Leading up to the 2001 Fiesta Bowl, my family and I had a running joke, wherein almost everything was a sign. And that, as a result, the Beavs would win by 20.
As such, in an attempt to channel some 2001 Fiesta Bowl juice:
So, Joe Newton's cousin gave me my first coronavirus shot yesterday. It's a sign. Beavs by 20!
Go Beavs! Beat Loyola!

Here is my Linear Regression analysis:
We won the first game (Tenn.) by 14, second game by 10 (Okie State), and the third game by 7 (Loy. Chicago).
I see the pattern thusly:
First game differential (14 pts.) to Second game differential (10 pts.) = 4 pt. change
Second game differential (10 pts.) to Third game differential (7 pts.) = 3 pt. change
Third game differential (7 pts.) to Fourth game differential (projected 5 pt. differential) = 2 pt. change
Fourth game differential (5 pts.?) to Fifth game differential (projected 4 pt. differential) = 1 pt. change
Sixth game differential (4 pt.?) to Fifth game differential (project 4 pt. differential) = 0 pt. change
4 pt. diff > 3 pt. diff.> 2 pt. diff> 1 pt. diff., and 0 pt. diff.
Therefore we win the next game (Monday) by 5 pts., the next game after that (Final Four prelim.) by 4 pts. and the last game (National Championship game) by 4 pts.
You heard it here first!
