This is an excellent update, Ocho. Thank you very much. Any news on Beavers in the bigs? I saw Conforto's 8th home run yesterday. Any other news?

Beavs in the bigs? We've got 4: Conforto: You've already heard it all. .285ish, 8 HR 24 RBI, better defense than anyone gives him credit for. He'll be a fixture for a long time in the NYM outfield. Jacoby: Somehow he's 32 yrs old. How did that happen? Anyways, slow start, but now sitting at .275 leads team or close to it... Still runs the bases well and is a threat to steal. Yanks probably have a few too many holes offensively and not enough starting pitching to make much noise this year. Osich: Sweet gig as lefty killer for SFG. Think lefties are 2 for 30 or so against him. Plus the Mayan calendar says the Giants will win it again this year so there's that. DBar: Its been discussed. Somehow Ryan Goins has some blackmail level dirt on the Jays Manager or GM. How else can you explain starting the guy hitting .148/.197 OBP, 28K in 115 AB over DBar's .328/.366 OBP in 67 AB. Looks like as of last weekend the tide is turning in DBars favor, but either way it's short lived as Devon Travis is due back at 2B. This means someone has to go and it better be Goins. These guys agree: www.bluebirdbanter.com/2016/5/22/11736510/ryan-goins-vs-darwin-barney

Cole Gillespie is still with the Marlins, correct? Ahh yes.. good catch. Was called up about a month ago. 0-8 so far. Cole's pretty much been everywhere by now. 974 minor league games, 171 major league games: Brevard County/Huntsville/Nashville/Brevard x2/Reno x3/Arizona D'Backs x2 /SF/Chicago/Fresno/Seattle/Toronto/Gulf Coast Jays/Tacoma/Dunedin/Buffalo/New Orleans/Miami/New Orleans x2/Miami x2. Life as a fringe guy... Few others of note - Lennerton and Peavey were both released in the off season. Wong is in AAA but I'd think his days are numbered. Gaviglio in AA Mariners (now a teammate of A-Mo). Gabe Clark presumably in ext spring training with Blue Jays.
