Beavers win 3 of 4 this weekend. Interestingly the schedule is set up so if all four games are played the first one is considered an OOC game. Beavers are 2-1 in conference now.
The announcer said that our Jr pitcher, Mariah Mazon, has pitched twice as many innings as the rest of the staff. I know it's beating the dead horse but in less Berg can get two Mazon caliber pitchers we will always struggle to finish in the top half and most likely never get out of a regional. Hope I'm wrong of course. Maybe Mazon could get us out of a regional and to the WCWS like Brittany McGowan.
I still wonder if Berg either can't recruit top tier pitching talent (multiple players) or can't develop it.
Mazon had 12 strike outs today.
Leading 4-3 top 6th they had a runner at third with one out. Ground ball at short and Mia Radar throws the runner out at the plate. Great play. She is one of my favorite players.
Next two series (4! games each) are at Arizona and home against
's. If we could win 4 I would be very encouraged.
