They sound ready. We'll see tomorrow.
It's interesting that Aleah mentioned that she had grown in the ability to not get rattled. I would never have guessed, even as a freshman she was deadly from long range no matter what the clock said. Or her game long chess match with i as a sophomore, which she won at the end of the game with a move set up in the first period. And now, she has taken leadership role all the while improving her own production. I would love to see what she could do leading a team in a "normal" year, especially with the quartet of freshman guards/wings.

I'd agree with Aleah's self assessment. When she got her 6th person of the year award her shooting tanked. And when she began the year as a starter her game didn't going well. This year being the PG and leading the team has been great. She is another one of SR's stellar projects wherein she improved year by year and now in her senior year is having an amazing time. In her steady improvement she really reminds me of Gulich.

As a sophomore her "tanked" shooting was still 41%, 39.4% from three and 93.5% free throw.

As a sophomore her "tanked" shooting was still 41%, 39.4% from three and 93.5% free throw. If I remember correctly, Aleah was on fire from distance during the four games of the Preseason NIT tournament to start the '19-'20 season and may have set a tournament record for the total number of threes made during a Preseason NIT. Her shooting slump came after that tourney and continued during the team's 15-game winning streak that elevated the Beavs to #3 in both major polls. During her shooting slump her junior year, Goodman had became very reliant on shooting threes and went many games to start the season without making a two-pointer. Opposing defenses would pressure her to drive by playing her tightly out to the arc. Goodman was 0/10 (0/9 from distance) in the 2019 PAC-12 Tournament quarterfinal loss to Washington in Vegas. That is what may have prompted many fans to remember her shooting slump during her junior season. This season, Goodman has made opposing defenders pay by finishing drives frequently when being pressured out to the arc. Her shooting efficiency this season, figuring in the 1.5x factor given to made threes, has to be among the best in the country. She is scoring 16.1 points per game on only 11.5 field goal attempts per game. That is not easy to do. Her shooting efficiency rate this season is likely among the best ever in OSU WBB history. Maybe the very best in OSU single season history.

She did have a poor stretch during the 19-20 season early, but finished and ended the season relatively strong to finish .440 from beyond the arc.

GT Article On GoodmanThe 5-foot-9 senior guard has elevated her game on the court, leading the Beavers with 16.1 points per game as they made a late-season push to earn the No. 8 seed in the Hemisfair Regional of the NCAA tournament and a date with No. 9 seed Florida State at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the first round. In addition to the scoring, Goodman is averaging 4.8 assists and 3.1 rebounds a game while shooting 48.3% overall from the field and 49.4% from beyond the 3-point line, second best in Division I.

And she has referenced to that drop herself. All shooters have bad games, it comes with the territory. Syd even had a 0 for 10 game, maybe two in her time as a beaver. Aleah had a couple bad games towards the end of the season bracketed by a 40% and a 67% shooting games. In order to make a legitimate judgement on a players shooting a reasonable sample size needs to be considered. 2 games is not that size.

As a sophomore Aleah had a bad game against Arizona, the rest of the time she shot at least 30%. As beaverwbb fan correctly notes in a post above, you may want to check the box score for Aleah's 0-10 shooting performance against Washington in the PAC-12 Tournament quarterfinal in March 2019. I don't think that is "at least 30%".

I wasn't claiming a permanent end to Aleah's shooting abilities and she herself has mentioned her difficulties. So I'm not sure I understand what the fuss is about.

I wasn't claiming a permanent end to Aleah's shooting abilities and she herself has mentioned her difficulties. So I'm not sure I understand what the fuss is about. It’s your use of the word “tanked.” Its a bit to strong and probably not all that accurate. Like all players, she has had a few bad games. Maybe even a stretch of games that were not up to the standard that she has set. But I don’t think you could ever put a player who has put together the career from the 3 point line that she has in the “tanked” category. Her lowest shooting season is just under 40%. The other three are well over. Not to bad. In fact, it’s the all-time best.

Ok, I apologize for using "tanked". There was a dip from incredible down to amazing and then back up to incredible. And the real point of my original comment, again agreeing with Aleah, is that after having some problems with the spotlight Aleah is now shining in said spotlight!
