I like seeing FSU way down at 41, well below WSU. The SoS really jumps out on Pac-12 teams. Stanford is at 13. Looking at other #1 Seeds< UConn is at 71, South Carolina at 6, and NC State at 51. OSU is at #4, aided by playing Stanford twice. South Carolina did a great job OOC scheduling with UConn, Gonzaga, NC State, ISU and South Dakota (whom I'm a big fan of this week!). That's an impressive list of OOC teams that are in the post-season (and mostly very well seeded)

This is the only rating service I believe. And that is for the entire field, not just OSU. The NCAA seeding was ridiculous on so many levels (and not just for the PAC-12). NCAA could have just used Massey and called it good. Even though I believe many PAC-12 teams are under-seeded, Massey gives me hope that teams like OSU and WSU will show-up won't go down without a scrap should OSU/WSU get to Round 2. And teams like UCLA and UA will go far. NCAA's seeding of Stanford was right, so I'll give them a thumbs up on Stanford. If PaoPao can play, the Ducks will do some damage as well. But they'll need PaoPao to get beyond Round 2.

Well, if UCLA really is #7, and Oregon really is #8, then the Beavs have a really good shot at a very competitive game with #5 South Carolina, if they get past FSU. I don't really put much stock in any of these ratings though. It's been a weird year, maybe with Paopao, Oregon would be #8. I just find this year to be tougher to judge than most.
