Our two top pitchers no hit Sac St in a double header yesterday. Granted, Sac St is at a lower level. Then today serve up batting practice to  . I just don't get it. Is there talent that much superior? I refuse to accept that. I've doubted Berg in the past because I don't necessarily believe she gets the best out of the talent she has but I've never vented any frustration with the pitching coach; one Marci Greene. Greene was Berg's teammate and the pitcher of record in Fresno State's miraculous College World Series win in the late 90's .
Do I know if it's coaching or talent? I don't. But our pitchers aren't terrible. Nerissa Eason is basically a 5th year senior and is the hardest thrower on the team. She can bring it. She has, in my opinion, not elevated her game in the time she's been here. Again, talent or coaching? The worst part about hiring your buddy from the championship run is the struggle to release that person if results are not favorable. So much goes into pitching. Are our girls getting the best leadership possible? I wonder.
I'm soooo frustrated with this situation.

They hired a good coach that recruits. We have a great player and we gave not been high end for a long time. We got schooled last week by South Dakota? We are average. Whether we want to accept it we are not very good. Check out our Women’s Soccer and Gymnastics as well. Teams in our League now feast on us. We seem to be ok with it.
I for one am tired of wasting my time watching us lose in Sports we should care to compete in. At one time we were a top tier Gymnastics program. Seem to be afraid to demand excellence. Makes Me eonder when I think of Volleyball.

Every real interaction I've ever had with a Beaver fan has been friendly. Why would you decide how to spend you money based on a bunch of stupid people on an internet forum? You should be donating and spending your money because you want to support the student athletes, coaches, and school. |

All fair points. I really do not care what people think. It is their right to behave and say what they want. My opinions are my Jen. That is all good. Most folks have been reasonable. I wrote the athletic Dept a while back and they know my reasons for stopping. You guys do not. I will respectfully choose to do other things.
I do apologize to anyone that I may have upset. In my lifetime I went to Beaver events because I cared and it was a release from Politjcs and we could all be in unity rooting for the Bears.
The institutions have become more into social change and inclusion. I see sports going down a sad road that challenges the History and challenges or cancels out people. That is why. God bless folks.
