Time for people to step up, but that is a phenomenally big sucker punch - have had enough surgeries never to want to see anyone deal with stuff like this, especially when it means so much to their futures.

Oof....I think pitching is their strength, so they could survive this, but still Fri/sat guys gone? Thats a huge loss

Vander Kooi looked great last year and was expected to be Arizona State's ace. However, he was injured and on a 20-pitch count to start the season. Tyler Thornton was Arizona State's Saturday guy. He is still pitching. I was going to say that Arizona State, with Benson and Vander Kooi, probably has the best pitchers left on Oregon State's schedule after Jordan Wicks. Thornton still may be the best starter left on the schedule.
