She yelled AND ONE while getting fouled. It happens multiple times a game, she just has to make sure she doesn't yell it directly at the player she just scored on. She will learn from it. Big challenge tonight. She didn't have a great game VS Stanford last time. Let's see how she adjusts.

Really? Is this what it has come to? A bunch of grown men sitting around, their lives revolving around the athletic triumphs of an 18-year old girl from the Tri-Cities? Are we really so emotionally destitute and needy? We're like children! We're not men!

Good leadership.

Back in June of ‘18 our lives revolved around the athletic triumphs of an 18-year old boy from San Diego and his teammates. I don’t know about you but I thought it was a lot of fun.

This is kind of cool. Different perspective of the game.

I'm sorry, but Ann Schatz sure messes up names (and other things a lot). In this game, she called Taylor Jones, Haley. She called Prince, Sabally at least twice when Sabally wasn't even in the game, and she called Talia, Sasha on a 3pt attempt. There were probably others as well. We all make mistakes, but her calling people by the wrong name got a little out of hand. Hopefully she improves that, or they find someone better.
And another different subject...I wonder why Graves only played Prince 13 minutes? If anything, Boley had a rough shooting night, and probably should of played less. Of course, I'm not a coach, and Graves knows better than me who to play and when to play them. If it were up to me, as talented as she is, I would struggle to play Prince more because I'm not a fan of the way she displays herself on the court. Seems to me she is getting on her teammates rather than rallying them. Perhaps I'm not seeing enough of that part of the game, because the camera doesn't catch it all.

Yes, Ann Schatz had a rough time last night. When the pregame discussion was turning to Oregon last night she referred to them as the Oregon Beavers. Hope she's okay, because there were quite a few mistakes. As others have mentioned the "Oh, baby" usage gets a bit tiring, but generally I like Ann and her enthusiasm. The TV commentary also talked about the mysterious low-usage of Prince in last night's second half and I was thinking the same thing. She is such a weapon and given that we had such a hard time stopping her, you'd think that would have been Graves' strategy. She was vocally supporting the team from the bench, but it did seem she was yelling at her teammates again (what I noticed was after she turned around into Jelena and had the ball knocked out of her hands in the 2nd half), so maybe it is a chemistry issue. If a teammate is acting like that on the floor it can be disruptive to the team's focus and chemistry.

Once again, a journalist without an editor--article titled: "Your Day in Women’s Basketball, February 5: Early conference tournament results are in"

Reminded me of Freshman Kevin Abel staring down the USC Dugout when he struck out the side...Adley Rushman put him in a headlock as they walked to the dugout and reminded him that he was a freshman. I knew then Kevin Abel was a stud. Same can be said about TvO I was thinking that was against Arizona and not usuc. But I could be wrong. It was against Arizona, the Beavers had the lead at the time when it happened, Arizona rallied and won the rubber match. Kevin was the losing pitcher. Hard lesson learned.
