Another quality win. So impressive the way this team has gelled. In the course of a month we’ve gone from rebuilding year also ran, to a team that might just make a run in the tournament.

Start of the game when everything was coming up short I figured the team just didn't have the juice for this game. But (joyjoyjoy) I was wrong.

Man I hope Aleah comes back next year. When you have two scoring playmakers on the floor, effective defensive schemes are super difficult. With the defense focused on keeping her in check (and still getting a solid, efficient game out of her), TVO exploits their D.
Going to be a fun postseason - we're going to likely be dogs every night, but this team is geared up to compete regardless of the seed across from them. Coach Rueck keeps making March fun.

That was my first time watching TvO. Maybe this has already been discussed, but she has a very high IQ and plays within the system. I'd chose her over Destiny in a heartbeat. Destiny who?

TVO
Tough choice for *uck defender. Leave Sasha open for a wide open 3 or leave the lane open for a driving Talia? Isn’t basketball rule #1 “stop the ball”?
She probably assumed that she’d have help on Talia’s drive. Bad assumption.

Now for a USC upset in the second game.... Nope. 16-3 Stanford already. At this point just gotta hope USC puts up a tiny bit of resistance so Stanford has to exert a little bit of energy at least.

So I'm looking at this picture of Aleah and Talia, and reading what they wrote and I'm thinking this team could REALLY use Aleah next season. She is so good with the young players. Having her back to support Sasha, Aleah, Greta, and Savannah would be so great for them.

She probably assumed that she’d have help on Talia’s drive. Bad assumption. The D largely didn't fall asleep - that's TVO convincing her defender she's about to use the screen, then freezes the help defender with her eyes suggesting wanting to pass as she flies by. Sabally really should have waiting for her at the rim, but she deciding to guard Taya at the 3pt line when she's a skip-pass away from the ball - Sasha's defender would have expected someone would be defending the rim. That said, great offensive players make defenses look broken.
