71-63 final. Career high 20 for TvO.

I'll take playing poorly and still win comfortably. It wasn't that comfortable. 2 possession game well into the 4th quarter.

NOT what the Beav's needed. Had to work to hard for this. Going to be tired going into the game tomorrow.

We likely don't even win this game without TVO. Ugly showing- giving up 16 offensive boards- ugh.

1 PF for Taylor Jones. That’s good to see.

Camera work awful by PAC-12 network.

5/14 from 3. Well below their season average. How often has Aleah gone 0-fer from 3 this season?

Tomorrow’s game vs *ucks is the deciding game in what has become a 3-game series. Let’s take it!

That comment calls back to things we've heard from coaches and players about them just needing time to play together and they would gel (regardless of TVO joining). I haven't personally been convinced that would have been the case, and this game makes me fell even more-so that this team doesn't have a Top-25 construct without TVO.

Not great defensive intensity, upper class has a really bad shooting day beyond the arc. (Aleah has had some bad shooting Pac-12 openers.) However you survived to play tomorrow. That's what tournament basketball is all about. Team will have a lot of film to look at as they rest and try to recover for tomorrow. Emotion should carry the legs for tomorrow. Friday would be when you would worry about fatigue setting in. Need a much better effort defensively and rebounding tomorrow.

It's a good thing we have (aka successfully recruited) her then.

Camera work awful by PAC-12 network. Agreed. They missed a lot of action/points/free throws. Although that's probably less to do with the "camera" work than with the directors (whether they're on-site or up in San Fran).

I thought Cal played very, very well today so I think they deserve a bunch of credit for making things difficult for the Beavs.
Hopefully Aleah was saving her 3-point daggers for the next two or three teams we play this week. Such a luxury to have Talia here too!

Such a luxury to have Talia here too! They did play well. Like a few of us pointed out, their recent play was much better than earlier in the season and they certainly didn't look like a 1-15 team. Compare them to the dumpster fire that USC has been down the stretch, losing 3 straight by 24 or more.
Cal basically lost the game in Q2 when they got kinda sloppy on offense. OSU won the quarter 22-14, and those 8 points ended up being the final margin.
