Not sure where to post this, but has there ever been a weekend like the one Beaver Athletics had this past one? Joe Beaver Show had a good rundown:
It's just a bummer that fans couldn't be present for most of these events. I'm especially bummed about the soccer games, which both featured late goals to win. Would've been fun to be there.
- Baseball with the Sweep, moving to 7-1 on the season and back in the top 25
- Men's basketball with the sweep of the Bay Area for the first time in a decade, first back to back wins at Maples since the 1980s, 9-9 in conference, outside chance to finish 5th in the conference overall
- Women's basketball beats UCLA and the Ducks on the road, placing themselves in the inside of the bubble for the NCAA Tournament
- Men's soccer beats UCLA for the 4th consecutive time, moves into the top 10 in the rankings
- Women's soccer beats defending national champion and #3 ranked Stanford for just the second time in school history
- Gymnastics posted a season high in a narrow loss to #13 UCLA
- Women's Softball took #3 Arizona to extra innings and sits at 6-2 on the season
- Wrestling took 2nd in Pac-12 championships and had two individual champions
