Back to back years now with players on the All-Freshman team. Haven't had that since Jamie/Syd did it in 2013/2014 (Actually that was the tail end of 4 consecutive years - Martin, Gibson, Wiesner, Weise) . Hope this is the start to some future conference championships.

Don't agree with several of the picks here. I never could decide who I thought should win POY, but McDonald wasn't it. Lacie Hull 6th player of the year? I love her hustle and defensive intensity, but she averaged 2.6 ppg. You have to be kidding. I think every team had a more impactful sub than that, including Stanford. Hannah Jump would've made a lot more sense. She led them in scoring several games and is a deadly 3 point shooter who has added more to her offensive repertoire. She actually reminds me of Tudor a little bit. I think if she had gotten in a few more games, TvO would have been a very compelling pick for 6th player and also First Team All Freshman.

I hate the all defense teams they list every year. They just go look up who has the most steals and put them on the list. The lone exception this year is Wilson who's a bit like Gabby in that she's so well known as a defender that she still made the list even if she's not at the top of the steals.

It's good to see Sasha get mention as devensive honorable mention as a freshman as well. There is every reason to expect her to be one of the best defensive players in the conference the next few years.
