And more importantly than the draw, we've moved from the last team in to second to last. A win Sunday would be SOO huge.

The way we are peaking, and have added a major impact player in TVO, since late January,I would think if we finish with an above .500 record,we are in. The conference is a meat grinder, and we're very competitive with the top teams in this league not named Stanford.

We need to remember that these are Charlie Creme's brackets. He was upset that the actual committee had rated Baylor as # 10 in the field of 16. He loves Baylor and the SEC. The committe seems to have a different criteria than Creme this year.

If we lose to the Ducks, barely beat the conference 11 seed, then lose to the 3 seed, we'd be above .500, but I don't think we'd get in. Beating the Ducks would seal the deal though.

Maybe wishful thinking on my part, but we are a different team after we added TVO,and certainly a tournament team imo. Daschel of the Oregonian was just on the Canzano show, and he feels like we would go in around an 11 seed if we make it,but the way we're playing, would be more like a 5 or 6 seed. In addition,if we return Goodman and Brown healthy,he thinks the 2021-2022 team could be a potential elite 8 team with all the talent we return. I am paraphrasing. Just one mans opinion. Im counting on the conference getting much respect too, having Stanford,Arizona,Ucla, and uo in the top 10 in the country at one time or another. That should help our power rating.

I don't think the selection committee is supposed to look at the difference in a team before and after a significant event, like losing a key player to injury or getting back a key player from injury - or adding a new player midseason. They just look at the total body of work I believe.
We have but one good win. I think we need another to be sure we get in.

If the Beavs lose Sunday to the ducks, I doubt they make the NCAA tournament, unless they knock off an Arizona, Stanford, UCLA, or Stanford in the Pac-12 tourney, then who knows. Beating the ducks and one or two Pac-12 tournament wins would probably do the trick. I haven't heard officially, did the Pac-12 give up on the idea of make up games after the tourney? I'm not sure if it is worth it unless there are a few bubble teams that would benefit. I'm sad that this year was such a mess. Just when the Beavs look like the Beavs again, the season is coming to an end. There is reason to look forward to the next few years though.

Win in Eugene likely gets them the margin needed. Other factors in play are the rest of the teams on the bubble, and, how they perform.
